About Me

This blog is NOT about Florence, Italy. Instead, it provides me with an outlet to mock, deride, and laugh at myself, my family, and everyone else in the world without having to apologize.
I have taught high school for 15 years and raised several children for 18 years, all the while honing my wit in the toughest battlefields: those frequented by inappropriately dressed, wildly bored, and scintillatingly confused teenagers.
I have a BA and MA in English, neither of which was sufficient to provide me with a solid income in my chosen profession. I am writing a blog because I see this as the surest way to become rich and famous.
